The Town Council’s Kite Festival took place today, Sunday 13th August, 2023, in a lucky weather window after near gales on Saturday.
The event was well attended and much enjoyed, with the council providing kites for young people to colour in and assemble and booking a professional kite organisation who flew big, colourful cartoon-like kites.
Thanks go to the East Anglian Kite Fliers for keeping our eyes entertained, and to singer Thomas Newman-Clark for keeping our ears entertained.
