DIANE CARTER
Diane is originally from North London but has lived in Burnham on Crouch for 25 years. It is important for her to be actively involved in the place where she lives and to give something back.
She has a Bachelor of Education (Bed Hons) degree and NVQ Level 5 in Management.
Diane’s professional background is in Social Services and Education. Whilst working in those sectors she has held direct support and management roles and teaching, SENCO and SLT roles.
Now semi-retired, she actively volunteers in the local community. She volunteers at the EHAAT charity shop, Dengie DCaf, URC Community in a Cup, with Maldon CVS and is Secretary of the Burnham on Crouch Carnival Committee.
Diane was co-opted onto the town council in June 2023 as an independent candidate.
She wants to work with and for the community to help Burnham be the best that it can be.
