The Dengie Climate Action Partnership launches on Thursday 19th October at 7pm in the Town Council Chamber in Chapel Road. The meeting has been organised by town councillor Diane Carter.
This is a new environmental community initiative, open to anyone concerned about the impact of climate change and those who want to take action to protect the Dengie for future generations.
Speakers will include:
- Prof. Jules Pretty (Environment and society, University of Essex)
- Cllr Peter Schwier (Essex County Council Climate Czar)
- Jo Phillips (Chair, Heybridge and Maldon Climate Action Partnership)
- Cllr Paula Spenceley (MDC, co-founder of Heybridge and Maldon Climate Action Partnership)
