25th March 2024

The Town Council is now holding its annual town meeting on 24th May You can meet councillors and local volunteers

Burnham-on-Crouch Town Council has postponed its Annual Town Meeting to Friday 24th May.

This is because it recently came to our attention that legally we are unable to hold our Annual Town and Parish meeting before 6pm. On that basis we have had to cancel the meeting originally scheduled for the morning of Saturday 20th April.

We have rescheduled the Town Meeting to Friday 24th May 2024 with doors opening to the public at 6pm.

The Town Meeting is now taking place at the Burnham Village Hall (down Devonshire Road, on the corner of Arcadia and Eastern – CM0 8EF) and will run from 6-8.30pm.

This is an opportunity to meet your elected councillors and ask questions in the public forum that follows the formal presentation of the annual reports.

To be sure the answers you are given are better informed, you may choose to email your questions in advance to:  office@burnhamoncrouchtowncouncil.gov.uk, or write them down and drop them at the council offices in Chapel Road. But of course, you can ask them spontaneously during the forum.

There will also be stalls at the meeting, so you can meet some of the people doing regular volunteer work for the town.

Light refreshments will be provided.
