Councillor Bob Calver, Mayor of Burnham on Crouch Town Council and the Councillors and Staff of Burnham Town Council, are deeply saddened at the news of the death of Her Majesty the Queen.

Our thoughts are with the Royal family at this time.

A book of condolences will be available in the Council Chamber during opening hours, commencing today 9th September 2022 until the end of national mourning:

Monday 9am – 12:30pm and 6pm – 8pm
Tuesday 9am – 12:30pm and 6pm – 8pm
Wednesday 9am – 12:30pm and 6pm – 8pm
Thursday 9am – 12:30pm and 6pm – 8pm
Friday 9am – 12:30pm and 6pm – 8pm
Saturday 2pm – 4pm
Sunday 2pm – 4pm

Condolences can also be offered at St Mary’s Church, Burnham on Crouch between 10am and 5pm daily and online at www.royal.uk.

Floral tributes can be left at the War Memorial in Burnham High Street and will be removed the day after Her Majesty’s funeral.

The Proclamation to announce the new King, King Charles the III will be read at the War Memorial, High Street, Burnham on Crouch at 3pm on the 11th September 2022.
