Phase 2 Applications Now Open for Maldon District Council’s ‘Where Quality of Life Matters Fund’
Maldon District Council is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the second phase of its ‘Where Quality of Life Matters Fund’, a community grants initiative designed to support projects that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for residents across the district.
Eligible groups can apply for up to £10,000 to support initiatives that make a meaningful difference in their communities. Applications are open from 10 July 2026 until 30 September 2026 and can be submitted on the Council’s website at https://www.maldon.gov.uk/communitygrants.
Councillor Simon Morgan, Leader of Maldon District Council, said: “This fund is all about backing people who want to get things done for their communities. Phase 1 showed what can happen when local groups, charities and parishes are given the right support, with funding helping projects that brought people together, improved local places and supported wellbeing across the district.
“Now we want to build on that. If you’ve got a practical idea that will make life better for people in Maldon District, please get in touch. We want to help turn good ideas into real action.”
The Council encourages applications from a wide range of community organisations, charities, and voluntary groups working to improve social inclusion, health and wellbeing, the local environment, and more.
