ORMISTON ACADEMY – FIRST GIVE PRESENTATIONS 25 JUNE 2024

The First Give programme inspires young people to take action to make a positive change in society and their programme with Ormiston Academy involved year 8 students choosing a charity to support and making a Presentation in front of a panel consisting of two  members of the Rotary Club , The Fire Station Chief and Deputy Mayor Diane Carter and Cllr Paula Stanbury.

Seven Teams competed and the standards were very high so selection of a winner was challenging.  The teams supported the charities as follows.

Young Minds – Mental Health Charity supporting 13- to 35-year-olds

Trust Links – General Mental Health

Macmillan

Cancer Research

Farleigh Hospice – local Charity
