MDC Play Site Renewals – Spring / Summer 2026
Renovations at Riverside Park are underway and Springfield park will follow shortly after to form part of the MDC FY26/27 play site capital projects.
Both sites in question have been in need of renovation works for a number of years and we are excited to be able to deliver these projects. Once completed both sites will be modern, engaging, challenging, interactive and most importantly fun for all ages & abilities.
As always MDC have put emphasis on ensuring as much accessibility throughout the sites and equipment as possible.
Both sites will also have designated seating areas with picnic tables / bench seating available.
Riverside Park
Project start – 24/06
*Completed before school holidays to ensure the new site will be fully functional and exciting for the community to use.
Springfield Road
Project start – 06/07
*Please note that part of the site works will fall into the first week of the school holidays. However, the brand new site will be amazing and open for the remaining weeks of the holiday for all to enjoy. I know the community will be extremely happy with the result.
