Nancy Crisp died on 7 November 2018 after a battle with illness.

Nancy was a major force in this town, spending hundreds of hours researching local issues and battling both with Burnham Town Council and Maldon District Council to protect wildlife and the general environment.

She possessed an enormous knowledge about local issues and fought with considerable passion for her beliefs.

She is a tremendous loss to Burnham.

Councillors and people of the town are offering their sincere condolences.
