Galop is launching a new helpline, providing support and advice for any in the UK who has experienced anti-LGBT+ abuse, violence, or harassment. The LGBT+ Hate Crime Helpline is open Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm, and can be reached on 020 7704 2040 or by emailing HateCrime@galop.org.uk.

It is open to anyone in the UK who has experienced anti-LGBT+ violence, abuse or harassment and needs a safe space to talk.

They can provide independent advice, support, and signposting to organisations that are local to you if you would like further help.

The helpline is run by LGBT+ people for LGBT+ people, and it is completely confidential. You can talk to our helpline team about abuse, intimidation, threats, harassment, or violence you’ve experienced because of your orientation or gender identity.

It is operated by Galop, the LGBT+ anti-violence charity supporting people facing hate crime, domestic abuse and sexual violence.
