11th November 2018
This year’s Remembrance day fell on Remembrance Sunday and marked the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
The rainy weather broke perfectly on time to bless the assembled crowds at the War Memorial with sunshine.
Later, receptions were held at the Baptist Church and the Council Chamber.
In the evening the Town Beacon was lit in honour of the fallen.
