Council roles 

Bob is Highways Coordinator and is one of two Transport Representatives for the Town Council.

He is also on the Dunkirk Little Ships working group, the Neighbourhood Development Plan Strategy Group and is the council representative for Burnham Week Ltd  and the Chamber of Commerce.

Bob is on the Parochial Church Council of St Mary’s Church.

At the last election he stood as an Independent Candidate.


After graduating from Cambridge University, Bob started in advertising as a TV Producer and Creative Director – ASDA Price was one of his.

He then switched careers to become  a consultant to Central Government Departments such as BIS, DfE, DCMS and DoH on their Property and Facilities Management. He was also a Governor of an NHS Foundation Trust providing Mental Health Services in Essex

Now retired, he also is the Eastern Region Environment and Planning Coordinator for the Royal Yachting Association.

Register of Interests

This provides information about any financial interest which a councillor has, or any benefit which he or she receives, which others might reasonably consider to influence his or her actions or words as a member of the Town Council.
