Dog mess and litter are the bug bears of most towns. Some people, for who knows what reason, do not pick up after themselves. Happily, the majority do.
Maldon District Council’s Rangers have the power to fine owners for failing to clear up dog mess. The problem is that they can’t be everywhere at once.
You can help the Rangers by reporting litter-louts and dog owners who persistently fail to pick up after their dogs by calling Maldon District Council on (01621) 854 477 or clicking here to send an email.
If you have any complaints or suggestions, you can send an email to this address, firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject title, COMPLAINT – DOG MESS/LITTER, or SUGGESTION – DOG MESS/LITTER.
You could also contact the Town Council’s Environment Coordinator.
When emailing town councillors, it is always a good idea to copy in the Town Clerk.
